The beta test started sooner than I expected, and I didn't have much time to prepare everything.

Policy of This Site

The "MHWilds Speedrun Database" is designed to collect speedrun videos.

Traditional speedrun leaderboards have established strict rules and ranked records accordingly.

Unlike these traditional leaderboards, Speedrun DB aims to gather as many speedrun records as possible under more relaxed rules.

Quest Format

We are not collecting records which starts the quest by attacking the monster. The quest must be selected from the quest board and the result screen must be still image.

Category for Limited Runs

We are considering classifying videos that generally prohibit the following four actions as "Limited" (Four-No Rules?).

  1. Prohibition of actions that deal damage to the monster using anything other than weapons
  2. Prohibition of actions that restrain the monster using anything other than weapons
  3. Prohibition of the use of the 'Heroics' skill
  4. Prohibition of the use of mantles

Even for beta test records, videos with such tendencies have been tentatively classified as "Limited." It seems difficult to make final decisions on this until the full version is released.
